Did you know that the CIty of South Fulton has an Elections Page? This is your resource now and going forward for getting more information on our municipal elections.
There are two ballot questions that ALL District 2 residents should make it a priority to weigh in on. The questions are:

  1. Shall the Act be approved which authorizes the City of South Fulton to utilize tax allocation districts and redevelopment powers under the Redevelopment Powers Law as it may be amended from time to time? (Yes, No)

  2. Do you approve a new homestead exemption from City of South Fulton property taxes for municipal purposes in the amount of the difference between the current year assessed value of a home and its lowest base year value, provided that the lowest base year value will be adjusted yearly by the lesser of 3 percent or the inflation rate? (Yes, No)
More information about these ballot questions is available on the City's website. Helpful resources include (Click the Links)

|
| In Districts 1, 3, 5 and 7, residents will be voting in the city council races. Help drive voter turnout by reminding family members, friends, church members and others in these districts that Election Day is Tuesday, November 5. Local elections are just as important as national elections - and some would say they are even more important because they directly impact your day-to-day way of life.
Help get out the vote by reminding ALL City of South Fulton residents to head to the polls. A list of all qualified candidates in all districts is available here.

For many of us, having Wolf Creek Library as an early voting location is convenient. Getting in and out to vote is a breeze. Between October 15 and October 29, only 412 voters had taken advantage of the Wolf Creek Library location for early voting.
Let's show that we are engaged, and that we are motivated and excited to exercise our right to vote by increasing our attendance during early voting at this location. Please share this information with your neighbors and encourage them to get out and vote as well.
MAYOR WILLIAM EDWARDS IS ENCOURAGING YOU TO VOTE
Mayor Edwards recently produced a video encouraging City of South Fulton residents to head to the polls. Click the video below to hear his message.  |
