Mr. Davis,

We wanted to provide an update on this issue:

CITGO Petroleum Corporation is aware of criminal activity taking place at
the CITGO location at 5225 Campbellton Road in Atlanta, GA.  CITGO’s
customer, a local fuel distribution company, reports that it is working
with the retailer to improve safety at the location by installing
additional lighting and multiple security cameras, posting No Loitering and
safety warning signage, and designating no parking areas near the street.
Additionally, the retailer will continue reaching out to local law
enforcement.

While each CITGO-branded station is locally owned and independently
operated, we know that incidents at the local stations reflect on CITGO
too.  As a result, we take situations like this one very seriously and
expect that the responsible parties and local law enforcement will work
together to continue to improve the safety of this location and the
surrounding community.

Sincerely,

Ms. Stokley,

I am hearing from people that reached out to SA White about the CITGO
branded station, that their response was that they are not responsible for
this CITGO and SA White ONLY sells them gas.  That is your operator
supplier’s prerogative, but there is such community outrage that once the
individual boycotts translate into an organized effort they won’t be
selling enough gas for SA White to justify doing business with them.  This
also undeniably damages the CITGO Brand.

The stark contrast from SA White’s lackluster response was when we raised
the issue on similar safety concerns with the BP on Cascade Road,  Clipper
Petroleum, their supplier stepped up and invested $20K in state of the art
surveillance and is working with the operator on site security services..

Here is the terse email I got from someone who reached out to SA While and DO
NOT FORWARD ANY MORE OF MY COMPLAINTS TO SA WHITE
,  The community will
deal with them where there will not be any demand for gas at this CITGO at
all.

LOOK AT THESE PICTURES BELOW FROM YESTERDAY OF THE LATEST DAILY CRIMES.
CITGO may not operate this station as a corporate store, but this is
severely damaging your brand and you need to seek a supplier that gives a
rats ass about the stations customers.  Both the operator, the supplier and
CITGO corporate are on notice and it is when not if there will be a class
action lawsuit over the failure to address the danger to your customers…

FROM SA WHITE:

In reference to the crime at the location on Sept 27th & 28th & Oct 5th
items were taken from a cars while the person went into the store. The
police was called and security footage was given to them to help identify
the criminals. By the way on  Sept 26 & Sept 27 & Oct. 4th a station in the
same area as Racetrack had police reports  with the same crime. Yes this is
a problem, the store owner is concerned with crime as well . We plan to
meet this week to discuss. We also plan to attend the Sandtown Community
Meeting to discuss with the department of public safety & the other in the
community as to what we all can do to help stop crime in the area. Please
go to www.fultoncountyga.govfcpolicecontactcc.com
http://fultoncountyga.govfcpolicecontactcc.com/ to file a complaint about
the crime in the area.

*Thanks *

From Leslie Coleman:

"Listen! Women just completely stay away from the Citgo on the corner of
Campbellton & Boat rock. It's happening at night and as I have just
experienced in the middle of the day. They are snatching purses and even if
you try to outsmart them like I did by putting it under the seat it doesn't
matter. They’re coming for your purse! My day right now. Sigh... won't
steal my Joy though. I watched as it happened & they were so quick nothing
I could do. I'm ok though."
