This information has been reported to the police. Although I know we say lock your doors, take your keys when pumping gas. It still happens when it's least expected! My cousin pulled in to the Citgo this morning. She doesn't live on this side of town so she didn't know about the attempted carjackings/ carjackings in this area. She pulled to the pump cut her truck off took out her keys opened her door to get out & 2 black teens tried to jump in before she closed the door!!! She screamed and caused attention & they ran. She said they then jumped into another car full of what looked to be teenagers!! She called the police & filed a report.. Be vigilant & stay aware while at any gas station or store!! Continue checks and patrols as often as permissible 3. Schedule a security survey and screening for businesses in the plaza 4. Request crime suppression action similar to the Cascade Rd gas stations to mitigate criminal activity 5. Placement of signage to encourage customers to secure their personal property and vehicles when entering store, pumping gas, and how to be aware of their surroundings 6. Review of activity at 5225 Campbellton Road to determine if any action can be taken from a business license standpoint 7.
