DISTRICT 6 COMMISSIONER] October 26, 2016 Dear Residents of Unincorporated Fulton County: Misinformation regarding the vote on the potential City of South Fulton continues to be disseminated and we would again like to briefly clarify the choices you have: - If you vote YES, Fulton County will work closely with the new city to identify what services, if any, the County will continue to provide. Residents will have the opportunity to elect new city officials in March 2017 and we assure that there will be a smooth transition plan as County leaders help the start-up government get established. - If you vote NO, nothing will change. You’ll continue to reside in Unincorporated Fulton County as we will proudly continue to provide essential services to you directly. We know the high quality that you expect and deserve from our police and fire departments, parks and code enforcement, and all other agencies. Our commitment to serve you will carry on. Commissioner Darnell and I have not taken a stand on cityhood and we fully support the opportunity for you, the residents, to decide your own future. Remember, the choice is yours.
